Yang Style Tai Chi forms are slow paced and even, often thought of as moving meditation. Yang Style Tai Chi is the most popular Tai Chi style practiced around the world. If you are brand new to Tai Chi, we recommend starting out with this class.
This class will focus on the fundamentals of Yang Style Tai Chi including: correct postures, understanding body geometry and alignment, key core concepts such filling and emptying, rooting, releasing tension in movement, and beginner internal power concepts. In our system, proficiency in these fundamental concepts provide the basis for advancement into forms.
